Queensland Country Tourism (QCT) is a Regional Tourism Organisation, committed to driving visitation to the Queensland Country Region.

As your industry representatives, we are invested in the growth and sustainability of our region’s tourism market. Our aim is to build awareness and preference for the destination in order to grow our visitor numbers overall and increase overnight visitor expenditure.

Membership of QCT provides in-region businesses with opportunities to enhance and expand the promotion of their business or event. With different membership levels available, QCT’s tailored offering makes it easy for all industry to engage at various levels of effort and investment

Tourism Business - Premium

This level of membership includes a range of valuable resources, support to become trade ready, and new and innovative digital packages and workshops that are designed to take your marketing to the next level.

Premium Membership (Annual)
$660 inc GST Annually  Join
What's included:
  • TOURISM BASICS BENEFITS, PLUS:
  • Access to the QCT image library (via QCT member dashboard). Images are supplied to assist in promoting destination.
  • Access to QCT region specific statistics, visitor data, visitor persona traits and behavioural data, giving you the tools you need to inform your strategic direction and marketing activities for your business.
  • Share your business and events news with QCT for the opportunity to have it featured in the QCT industry e-newsletter *
  • Exclusive invitations to invite-only events, qualified and accredited programs and mentoring through QCT and wider tourism industry bodies.
  • Your trade ready product promoted at the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE); Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) events and on sales missions.
  • Discount of a minimum of 20% on co-operative marketing campaigns and other proactive marketing initiatives.
  • Opportunity to be featured in the QCT consumer newsletters, sent to an engaged database of 50,000*
  • Priority access to, and inclusions in the following marketing opportunities and activities including QCT consumer newsletters sent fortnightly to an engaged database of approx. 50,000 consumers* and QCT digital and social media marketing activity*

Tourism Business - Basic

This level of membership has limited access to resources in the member dashboard. Example of a tourism business: Accommodation providers, tours and experiences, restaurants, cafes, bars and venues, retail, events and markets, wineries and vineyards, breweries, distilleries, and cellar doors.

What's included:
  • Your ATDW listing included on our QCT consumer facing website.
  • Your ATDW special offer highlighted as a special deal on our QCT consumer facing website.
  • Access to printed and electronic QCT publications to use in your business.
  • Regular consumer and industry facing newsletters, including updates on the latest local, state, and national tourism industry news and opportunities delivered to your inbox.
  • Opportunity to participate and provide prizes for consumer facing competitions to assist in promoting your product and the Queensland Country region.
  • Promotion of your visitor-driving event in ‘What’s on this week’ online.
  • Opportunity to participate in (at an additional cost) targeted marketing campaigns & other marketing activities for your business or event, beyond the membership offering.
  • Opportunity to advertise in the QCT visitor guide, produced every 12 months.
  • Opportunity to showcase your product as an on-site familiarisation to enhance product knowledge and drive new business opportunities. Premium tourism members are given first preference.

Service Member/Industry Supporter

This membership is for businesses that support or provide a service to a local tourism operator. Example of a tourism service business: Local trades, Training organisations, professional services, digital suppliers, graphic designers, consultants, maintenance businesses, and others.

What's included:
  • Connect with other members (business-to- business) through the QCT Industry Facebook Group.
  • Receive Industry Newsletters including a CEO update on the latest local, state and national tourism industry news as well as funding, training and marketing opportunities.
  • Access to QCT image library. Images supplied to promote the destination.
  • Access to Queensland Country statistics and visitation data by Council Region.
  • Use of official QCT consumer branding. Brand Style guidelines apply.
  • Invitation to networking events to connect with tourism industry professionals.
  • Opportunity to be considered as host venue for a QCT networking function.
  • Subsidised training sessions on a range of topics including social media.
  • Information forums for various industry sectors on a range of topics.

Associate Member

Tourism membership is available for tourism businesses trading outside of the QC region / partnering councils.

Savour Queensland Country Membership

Members of QCT can apply for an additional membership to join our regions exclusive tasting trails brand, Savour, exploring our premier food and wine experiences in region. All products included in the Savour tasting trails must meet experience-led criteria.

  • Your business will appear on the savourqueensland.com website.
  • Your business will be included in Savour tasting trails.
  • Opportunity to be featured in the monthly Savour e-newsletter, inclusion at the discretion of QCT.
  • Opportunity to feature within Savour digital and social media marketing activity.
  • Opportunity to be featured in articles, media communication and travel guides.

MULTIPLE BUSINESS DISCOUNT - Discounts are available for Premium Tourism Business Membership for multiple businesses owned by the same person (maximum three businesses) and operated as separate businesses. Business 1 – full price; Business 2 – 50% discount; Business 3 – 60% discount. Discounts apply to each subsequent membership level of equal or lesser value and are offered at QCT’s discretion. Discounts do not apply for additional marketing packages or opportunities. Please contact us to discuss your individual options.

Community Associations, not-for-profits, Local Tourism Organisation Members

Corporate Partner
